Anurag Kashyap went to Paris, shopping for Ranbir

Someone else like Anurag Kashyap shops for Ranbir Kapoor that too in Paris. Kashyap went on a week-long trip to Paris recently. It wasn't a vacation or a recee, but a shopping spree for Ranbir Kapoor.

The next schedule of Bombay Velvet, which should begin in Sri Lanka by the second week of February, requires Ranbir to don a retro look. So the filmmaker air-dashed to the fashion capital.

A source close to the development told Mirror, "The film is set in the Mumbai of the 50s and 60s. A huge set has been created in Sri Lanka. And for the costumes, Anurag decided to go to the French capital and meet the fashion designers there to get an idea on vintage clothing and pick up some period costumes for his street fighter hero.

He also got a few patterns for Anushka Sharma who plays a jazz singer." Anurag consulted RK for the final look and shared pictures of whatever he has picked up from Paris.

Huma Qureshi is being targeted: Anurag Kashyap on link up rumours

Anurag Kashyap and Huma Qureshi

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap is upset with stories about his link up with actress Huma Qureshi, who debuted with his film "Gangs of Wasseypur".

Kashyap, who has separated from his wife Kalki Koechlin whom he had launched in his film "Dev D", recently attended a screening with Huma.
"People run only one sided story and it's very disturbing. Such rumours are not affecting me or Kalki but it is affecting Huma's image. Huma is being targeted," Kashyap told IANS.
"When we went for the screening, photographers wanted to click us together. I said you guys will click our picture purposely and will run your own story and that's exactly what has happened," he added.
The filmmaker says this is one of the reasons he maintains a distance from the media.
He said: "I have always maintained distance from media because I read so many fake stories about me. After reading so many stories, even we stopped meeting. I am even going to get out of Twitter."

Kalki Koechlin defends Huma Qureshi

Kalki Koechlin has quashed rumours that Huma Qureshi had any role to play in her split with director Anurag Kashyap.

Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi

"Jesus Christ can we please leave Huma alone?! My problems with Anurag have nothing to do with her!," Kalki tweeted today. Kalki, 30, and Anurag, 41, revealed in November last year that they were taking time apart from their over two-year-old marriage.
There were speculations that Anurag's growing proximity with his 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actress caused the split. The 'Dev D' star recently hinted that there was no misunderstanding between her and Huma by attending the premiere of 'Dedh Ishqiya'.
Anurag has kept mum on the issue and Huma, 27, too has refused to get drawn into the controversy. When asked about the recent focus on her personal life, Huma told PTI, "I don't respond. People can speculate whatever they want. I am fine with it as far as I know what I am doing."
