Arbaaz Khan says 'Jai Ho' reflects country's current political scenario



'Jai Ho' reflects country's current political scenario: Arbaaz Khan While superstar Salman Khan has been urging not to link his upcoming film 'Jai Ho' with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), his brother and actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan says somewhere there is a connection between the movie and the country's current political scenario.

"It's a very good co-incidence that Jai Ho somewhere reflects the current scenario in the country," Arbaaz told reporters.

AAP formed by Arvind Kejriwal, who is now Delhi's Chief Minister, came into existence in 2012, and since then it has come a long way. Its stunning show in the Delhi assembly elections last December showed the power of the common man and also pushed the Congress to a humiliating third spot in its bid for a fourth term in office.

Jai Ho, directed by Salman's youngest brother Sohail, also focuses on the power of a common man.

"The film has been made by my brothers (Sohail and Salman) and it's a very good film. It will come out Jan 24. I wish them all the very best," he added.

Arbaaz is all praise for the film and hopes it becomes a huge hit.

"People will get to see the Salman they have always wanted to see. The film has turned out very well on the whole. Inshallah, it will be a huge hit," Arbaaz said.

Jai Ho also features newcomer Daisy Shah and Tabu.

Actress Malaika Arora Khan says the Khan brothers - Arbaaz, Sohail and Salman have the talent of producing handsome kids. When asked what is the talent of the Khan brothers, Malaika says, "they have the talent of producing handsome kids. Except Salman... whenever he gets married ...it (kid) will be handsome." Malaika, 40, married actor-producer Arbaaz and they have a son named Arhaan. Sohail married Seema Sachdev in 1998 and they have two children - Nirvaan and Yohan. Salman is yet to settle down in life. Malaika, who is one of the judges for 'India's Go Talent', thinks the talent this year is outstanding and feels proud to be associated with the show. The show showcases a wide variety of talent from the age of three to 80 years. "I have enjoyed lot of acts which are amazing and unbelievable. The grit and determination involved in every act is what attracts me," Malaika said. Besides Malaika, the show will also be judge by Karan Johar and Kirron Kher. It will premiere on January 11 every Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm on Colors channel.
