A week back, Bollywood actress Pooja Chopra
had injured her leg after a freaky accident. While she was taking her
morning drink sitting in the balcony a window glass came crashing down
on her leg. She was rushed to nearby hospital and reportedly around 50
stitches are tied on her leg. Due to the leg injury all her film
projects have got postponed by three months.
The Doctor who operated Pooja said, “She had lost some blood when she was bought in. We had to put around 50 stitches to tie her arteries, nerves and tendon, which were severely damaged.” He added, “To walk comfortably, and do the stunts that she does in her films, she will at least need a minimum of four months.”
Pooja, who was crowned as the Femina Miss India in 2009, has projects to be done like Roopnagar Ke Cheete and Commando 2, both are Vipul Shah’s movies.
Talking about the recovery and when she can resume to work, Pooja said, “When the filmmakers came to see me in the hospital, I told them to go ahead with the film with someone else. They refused point blank saying that they were very clear that they wanted me to be part of their film. Therefore, the entire schedule has been pushed back by three months.”
Wish you fast recovery Pooja!
