Sajid Khan is putting in maximum effort to ensure that his next film,
Humshakals lives up to the expectations of his producers Fox Star
Studios and Vashu Bhagnani and the audience. Shooting flagged off in
London last September and last week, Sajid was filming a lavish song
with his three actors, Saif Ali Khan, Ritiesh Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor at
Mumbai's Capitol cinema.
A source close to the unit told that he had recreated London's South
Hall at Capitol and turned it into a snazzy desi bar. "The song is
choreographed by Ganesh Acharya and is composed by Himesh Reshammiya. It
is a fun, energetic dance number but what is really interesting is that
it features all three actors and their triple avatars," added the
source.
It was Sajid's brainwave and when he narrated what he had in mind to the
trio, they were in splits. "He hasn't let the Himmatwala debacle pull
him down. He's trying all kinds of stuff and this sequence is going to
make everyone fall off from their chairs laughing," says the source.
When contacted Vashu was understandably reluctant to divulge details
about the shoot and all he was willing to say was, "I have full faith in
what Sajid has conceived and it's coming along well." Mirror had
earlier reported that a VFX team from Hollywood will be flown in to
Mumbai to work on the song and the special effects.
