Salman Khan and his Jai Ho co-star Daisy Shah recently visited the sets of the popular reality show Dance India Dance. At the show, the macho hunk showed his emotional side when he fought back tears after Manan and Sumedh’s performance.“You guys have gone way beyond just entertaining us,” said Salman, “You’ve made us remember all those people who’ve helped us reach where we are in life today. You’ve got us all emotional today.”
“I had never thought I’d be here one day as a judge, with him on the set as a celebrity judge. I am obliged to be sitting here in front of him and judging talent and, in fact, also presenting a few acts,” added the show’s judge Mudassar.
Meanwhile, the actor who visited Gujarat on Uttarayan to promote his film, said he loves Gujarat. The 47 year old said “I have always wanted to be a part of this festival and feel the spirit which is unique to Gujarat. Besides, Gujarat has a special place for me personally as well as professionally. I have always got a good response from the audience in Gujarat and I wanted to make sure that I am there to meet my fans at the right time. Also Jai Ho has a strong Gujarati connect, so I wanted to connect with Gujaratis at a time when they are in a celebratory mood and be a part of those celebrations.”
The Salman-special episode of Dance India Dance airs tonight at 9 on Zee TV.
