Preet Kamal, the actor who will make her Bollywood debut with national
award winning director Nila Madhab Panda's 'Babloo Happy Hai', is
looking forward to the release of her first film.
The young actor completed her masters from UK, returned to India to
pursue her passion. She joined an acting course in Mumbai, and was lucky
to bag an offer from the producers of 'Babloo Happy Hai' within the
span of few months. Preet reveals that, just like every girl, being an
actor was her childhood dream. She said, `It was somewhere in high
school that I realized the importance of a good degree, living an
independent life and being responsible. So after finishing my graduation
and MBA, I moved back here to make my dream come true. My passion for
cinema, brings me here. `
Preet plays the role of Tammana in the film a young, snobbish,
no-nonsense girl, who gets what she wants. 'Babloo Happy Hai' is a love
story of today's youngsters, and what they think love and sex is in the
times of multiplexes and fast cars. The film is slated to release on the
7th of February, 2014.
