'Raanjhanaa' and 'Tanu Weds Manu' actress Swara Bhaskar is playing a mother's role in Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari's directorial debut, 'Nil Battey Sannata'. When most steer clear from essaying a mum on screen, Swara at 27 has no such qualms.
Says Ashwiny, `She sees it as a challenge even though most actresses don't want to do such roles.` The film, set in Agra, is about a tug-of-war between a 13-year-old girl and her mother. Filming begins in June. Swara is also part of Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming Salman Khan-starrer 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo'.
